Tuesday Tactics: Developing Strategies to Deploy
- Read Your Standard Contract/Agreement Again: You have contract rights, remind yourself of them. The major ones to focus are: 1) Risk Management, 2) Reservation and Cancellation, 3) Reporting 4) Suspension/Closure 5) Force Majeure 6) Contract Extension/Fee Waivers. 
- Insist your Concessioners Communicate with their visitors AND you: Make sure they are posting their COVID response strategy including compliance with State and Federal Requirements. Request that they let you know about their postings. 
- Encourage your Concessioners to Track Cancellations: Any Federal or State relief from FEMA will require a demonstration of impact. Any future contract extension or waiver of fees will need this data. 
- Be thoughtful, disciplined, rational and courteous in all concession business decisions considered. It will make a difference in the long run. There will be a next season and you want your concession partners to be there.
