Geoff Baekey brings over 30 years of consulting and operational experience to CHMGS. For over the past 20 years, Mr. Baekey has spearheaded the redesign of key business processes for several Federal, State, and County land management agencies, the Department of Defense, and several other government and quasi-government agencies. Mr. Baekey brings a strategic perspective in assisting clients in maximizing hospitality and recreation opportunities through a process of market, financial and investment analyses aimed at structuring successful Public,Private Partnerships (PPP). He has accomplished this through strategic management of prospectus and RFP development and award processes for concession agreements, leases, management agreements and others. Clients Mr. Baekey represents include, but are not limited to, the National Park Service Commercial Services Program, the United States Air Force, United States Army, Bureau of Land Management, and the states of Tennessee and Iowa. Mr. Baekey's private sector clients include Marriott International, Starwood Hotels and Resorts, Palm Restaurant Corporation, Burger King, and numerous financial institutions relative to their hospitality and real estate holdings. Mr. Baekey also possesses extensive experience in commercial and resort lodging, recreation and food and beverage strategic planning, asset management, business development and operational analyses.

Geoff is an avid skier and happily spends much of his free time at his home at Sugarbush Resort, in Warren, VT, with his family and friends. He enjoys hikes with his wife and their chocolate lab Kona. He also enjoys playing golf with his friends as frequently as he can, as well as riding his motorcycle. He appreciates culinary experiences, architecture and design, and history. He is blessed to have two great kids and looks forward to spending time with them as often as he can.
