Tom grew up in an active family where skiing, water-based activities, and adventure were the norm. He also loves history and welcomes opportunities to merge the two. In this picture, Tom is about to fly in a PT-17 Stearman biplane, which was a training aircraft during WWII for novice pilots in the U.S. Army Air Corps. That afternoon, he enjoyed many barrel rolls, touch-and-go landings, and the Texas countryside.
